human smuggling is defined as the act of transporting someone across an international border without legal permission to do so and for a fee. Trafficking is using force, fraud or coercion to engage another human being in a commercial sex act or forced labor for no compensation. Trafficking is slavery and is a big problem in our country (not just for non-citizens. Please take note of the differences in terminology.
