Iran Calls Blair Criticism ‘Hateful’

TEHRAN — Iran on Wednesday lambasted a call by Prime Minister Tony Blair for Middle Eastern countries to form an alliance against Tehran.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini described Blair’s comments as “hateful” and said they were consistent with Britain’s “destructive intervention in regional matters”.
